The central government had decided to demonetize in 2016. On this decision of the central government, the opposition had surrounded the center well. It was also claimed that due to this decision, the common people suffered financial loss. In this regard, 58 different petitions were filed in the Supreme Court.
However, the Supreme Court has given a clean chit to the central government in this matter. Central government’s decision of demonetisation was right. The Supreme Court has given a big relief to the central government by saying that decisions related to economic policy cannot be withdrawn.
