मुंबई दि.३ – मराठा समाजाच्या जवळपास सर्व मागण्यांची पूर्तता होत आली असून या समाजाच्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी १४ ठिकाणी वसतिगृहे तयार असून येत्या १५ ऑगस्टला पालकमंत्र्यांच्या हस्ते त्यांचे उद्घाटन करण्यात येणार असल्याची घोषणा सार्वजनिक बांधकाम मंत्री तथा मराठा आरक्षण विषयक मंत्रिमंडळ उपसमितीचे अध्यक्ष अशोक चव्हाण यांनी सोमवारी केली.
मराठा आरक्षण विषयक मंत्रीमंडळ उपसमितीची बैठक सह्याद्री अतिथीगृहात झाली. यावेळी उपसमितीचे सदस्य तथा महसूल मंत्री बाळासाहेब थोरात, गृहमंत्री दिलीप वळसे पाटील हे प्रत्यक्ष तर नगर विकास मंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे हे दूरचित्रसंवादाच्या माध्यमातून उपस्थित होते.मराठा समाजाच्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी राज्यात २३ ठिकाणी वसतीगृहे उभारण्यात येणार आहेत. त्यापैकी १४ ठिकाणी वसतीगृहासाठी इमारती तयार असून त्याचे १५ ऑगस्टला उद्घाटन करण्याच्या सूचना देण्यात आल्या आहेत. यामध्ये मुंबई व मुंबई उपनगर, पुणे, सातारा, मिरज, कोल्हापूर, बीड, लातूर, अमरावती, नागपूर येथे प्रत्येकी एक आणि नाशिक व औरंगाबाद येथे प्रत्येकी दोन वसतीगृहांचा समावेश आहे. उर्वरित ठिकाणी वसतीगृह सुरू करण्यासंदर्भात जागा उपलब्धतेसाठी महसूल मंत्री हे विभागीय आयुक्त व जिल्हाधिकारी यांच्याबरोबर बैठक घेणार आहेत, असेही चव्हाण यांनी सांगितले. मराठा समाजाच्या उर्वरित प्रलंबित विषयांना गती देण्याचे आदेश देण्यात आल्याचेही त्यांनी सांगितले.
छत्रपती शाहू महाराज संशोधन व प्रशिक्षण संस्थेच्या (सारथी) विभागीय केंद्र व जिल्हा केंद्रासाठी जागा उपलब्ध करून देण्याची कार्यवाही गतीमान करण्यात आली आहे. सध्या कोल्हापूर येथे उपकेंद्र सुरू करण्यात आले आहे. तसेच पुण्यातील मुख्यालयाच्या बांधकामास ४२.७० कोटी रुपयांच्या खर्चास प्रशासकीय मान्यता देण्यात आली असून लवकरच त्या कामांचा शुभारंभ करण्यात येईल. ‘सारथी’ मार्फत स्पर्धा परीक्षांसाठी मार्गदर्शन वर्ग, संस्थेसाठी मनुष्यबळ पुरविणे, तारादूत प्रकल्प सुरू करणे, टॅलेंट सर्च परीक्षा व इयत्ता नववी ते १२ वीच्या विद्यार्थ्यांना शिष्यवृत्ती या नवीन योजना सुरू करणे आदी संदर्भात प्रक्रिया सुरू करण्यात आली असून लवकरच हे विषय मार्गी लागतील. सारथी संस्थेच्या मागणीनुसार, संस्थेसाठी सध्या १५० कोटी रुपये निधी देण्यात आला असून मागणीप्रमाणे निधी देण्यात येणार आहे. तसेच अण्णासाहेब पाटील आर्थिक महामंडळाच्या योजनांसाठीही निधी देण्यात येत असून धोरणात्मक निर्णय घेऊन नवीन योजनांचा समावेश करण्यात येणार असल्याचेही त्यांनी यावेळी सांगितले.
